To advocate is to support or speak in favor of something. When you advocate for WCFF, you show your support for improving women’s health and well-being. You let people know you care about making positive changes in Central Florida. For some, advocating will be achieved through word of mouth. For others, it will simply entail putting our decal on your car. For everyone else, it will be sharing your story on social media, writing a letter to the editor or speaking up in a community forum about how to better our local communities for women.
Advocating can also be about government engagement. WCFF is at times actively engaged in public policy advocacy to develop partnerships that include local, state and federal governments — along with the private and nonprofit sectors.
